OK, I understand all of it.

Try to get in touch in time, with the organisation for the next year meeting in Hattingen.
I think the distance to Hattingen is still OK, I agree.

Please also think about other meetings for next year, easy to reach from Holland.
I hope we can find somebody to organise this with you. Do you want this?

Hello Bram,
I've read that you are planning one new meeting but I can't come. My bad. But, you politely asked if I can organize some meeting that is easy to reach from Holland and I have some proposals. I haven't talked to anyone at these place and I don't know is it actually possible to come there with many cars but would be the next step. First, I would really like to know which of these locations are interesting to you and to some other members.

I don't think that I have to explain what this is. If you would like to get there, I'll just have to ask them when could that be allowed and maybe to get some tour inside. It will not be for free, of course.

It was quite a big factory and now it is changed to very interesting place. If this would be interesting, then I'll get in touch with them to ask them again for the parking and entrance tickets as a group.

Seems to be nice place. I don't know is there a place to park or to get in but that can also be a next step question if this would be the place to meet.

I'm sure that here is nice. Nothing special to see around the lake but I find it quite nice place to spend a day. Restaurants are good and only thing to think about is a parking. But, I have mentioned many times, that is a next step.

So, those are my proposals and I can say that I have planned it for June. One weekend, Saturday or Sunday in June, because I'll have enough time to check and arrange everything that is needed. I hope you understand me and my point of view.

Now I'm expecting to hear some replies from you here.

What I can see they are all trip advisors.
As you know we are looking for young and oldtimer meetings.

Ofcourse I can put your proposal to our other forums.

As you know we don't have an organiser for trips or meetings, I am doing this as a hobby.
So more than putting your post on other forums I can not do, unless you would like to organise something.

Well, then I haven't understood you quite well. I thought that you are interested in some interesting places. I'll look further on for some old and youngtimer meetings, no problem, and I'll let you know what I've found. Until then, don't spread the word to other clubs.

Ik kijk al jaren uit naar een W210-meeting. Lijkt me erg leuk om eens mee te maken en W-210 rijders/eigenaars te ontmoeten. Zo'n meeting hoeft niet groots te worden opgezet, denk ik. Kennis maken , elkaars auto bekijken en een gezamenlijke lunch lijken me voldoende om de eerste contacten te leggen.

Zoals je het omschrijft was de opzet.
Er was echter te weinig animo voor alleen de W210, dus heb ik de mogelijkheid elkaar te ontmoeten op alle Wclubs gezet.

Misschien vind je het dan toch leuk om te komen.

Hi,
I looked futher and found one which can be interesting. It is in June, in Gelsenkirchen https://www.gelsenkirchen.de/de/_meta/v ... assik-2016 so it is not so far away from Netherlands. As I could read about it, there is no additional costs for tickets or something else, because it is an open park. It seems to be a nice place to meet. And again, if there is some interest in this, I can get in touch with them and ask if we have to do something or just to inform them.
Then again, I must say that I'm a little bit confused right now. As I could understand from a few past comments, some of you are interested in simple meeting on some nice places, as I suggested in previous comment and then again there is an idea to look for those special events. What will it be at the end? My opinion is quite neutral. I'm looking forward to any meeting, I don't mind the reason. For example, at the end of April I'll be attending one Mercedes meeting in Serbia. To conclude, just tell me which will it be at the end and I'll put more energy in to it.

Here is another, new thing. Schöne Sterne 2016 in Hattingen. I just got this E-Mail and I would like to share it here with you. I hope that it is no problem for you to translate it in Google or somewhere else, or maybe some of you know German, because I'll copy it in original. It is easier for me.

Auch in diesem Jahr bekommen Clubs & IGs, die unter Angabe des Club-/IG-Namens für alle Clubmitglieder, die zu SCHÖNE STERNE kommen wollen, im Vorverkauf gesammelt bestellen, einen eigenen Bereich! Wir reservieren den Clubs & IGs anhand der bis zum 03. September 2016 bestellten Tickets eine eigene Fläche für die Anzahl der Fahrzeuge.

Das vereinfacht nicht nur die Handhabung, sondern hilft zudem, die Kosten für Orga und Logistik so gering wie möglich zu halten. Was sichdann wieder in günstigen Ticketpreisen niederschlägt.

So, if there is a possibility to go there as a club, I would like you, Brem, to contact them, to make it more official. If not, then it is more or less the same if the tickets are pre-ordered or bought at site. Difference is not so big, I assume.
